JBL Bar 800MK2 Soundbar

A seven-point-one channel soundbar system rated at seven hundred and eighty watts maximum total power and three hundred and ninety watts RMS, distributed across the main bar at four hundred watts maximum, two surround speakers at forty watts each and a ten-inch wireless subwoofer at three hundred watts maximum. The distinguishing feature is the pair of detachable surround speakers. Each runs on an internal battery for up to ten hours, so they can be placed behind the seating position without running cable across the room, then returned to the main bar to recharge when the film ends. The bar itself carries six forty-four by eighty millimetre racetrack drivers and two one-inch tweeters, with the surrounds using forty-four by ninety millimetre racetrack drivers. Frequency response extends from thirty-five hertz, with three-dimensional object audio decoding, high dynamic range and Dolby Vision video passthrough, and networked standby consumption below two watts.
