The EPM12 is the largest frame in the EPM family and provides twelve mono channels, each with its own dedicated microphone preamplifier, alongside two stereo channels. That distinguishes it from many consoles carrying the same channel count on the badge but offering only a handful of real microphone inputs and a set of line-only stereo strips. Every mono channel offers three-band equalisation with a swept midrange, a pre-equaliser insert point, two auxiliary buses that can each be switched pre or post fader, mute and solo switches, and a dynamic peak indicator that samples the signal at several points along the channel strip rather than at a single node. The main mix is controlled by long-throw faders and fed to balanced XLR connectors, with insert points available on the mix output for a master compressor or equaliser. The console is built into a steel chassis with an internal wide-range switch-mode power supply and ships with rack mounting hardware, which makes it a common choice for halls, houses of worship and permanent multi-microphone installations. KIC supplies, installs, aligns and maintains it as part of the audio systems we deliver across Egypt.
