The EPM8 is a multipurpose analog console offering eight mono channels with XLR microphone and quarter-inch line inputs, plus two stereo channels, housed in a rugged steel chassis with an internal universal switch-mode power supply. That input count gives enough room for a full band or a multi-microphone lecture platform without moving up to a larger and more expensive desk. Mono channels use the transparent GB30 preamplifier with globally switched 48V phantom power, three-band equalisation with a swept midrange and shelving high and low bands, and an individual insert point for placing a compressor or limiter directly in the channel signal path. Two auxiliary buses can each be switched between pre-fader and post-fader operation, and every channel carries mute and solo switches together with a dynamic peak indicator. The master section provides 60 mm faders, ten-segment LED metering, balanced XLR main outputs, balanced quarter-inch monitor and auxiliary outputs, and RCA two-track playback and record connections. Playback can be routed either to the monitoring path or straight into the main mix, which is convenient for interval music and announcements. KIC supplies, installs, aligns and maintains it as part of the audio systems we deliver across Egypt.
