Honeywell Morley-IAS MI-WSO-PR-N Addressable Wall Mount Sounder

An addressable wall-mounted sounder with a red body and white skirt, in the non-isolated version. It is powered from the detection loop itself, so no separate sounder power circuit is required. That single fact reduces the installation work noticeably, because the system needs only the loop cable instead of running independent notification circuits with their own supervised supplies to every floor. It also means a sounder can be added later at any point on the loop without altering the power design, as long as the loop load calculation still holds. The unit supports thirty two tone sets and three output volume levels, so the alarm can be matched to the acoustics of each space and the evacuation tone kept distinct from a first-stage alert. It mounts on the same standard base used for the detectors, provides generous cable access from the rear or the surface, and includes a loop continuity spring, an anti-tamper feature, an address tag and simple rotary address controls.
