An addressable notification device combining a sounder with a red visual beacon in a single wall-mounted housing, supplied here with a red body and white skirt in the non-isolated version. The visual signal is not a luxury. In factories, production workshops and generator rooms the ambient noise level is high enough that relying on sound alone is not dependable, and the same applies in areas used by people with hearing impairment and in spaces where ear protection is worn as a matter of routine. In those locations a combined sounder and beacon is what makes the alarm reliably perceptible to everyone present rather than only to some. The unit runs on the same loop-powered platform as the sounder-only model, with thirty two tone sets, three volume levels and support for up to one hundred and fifty nine addresses. The range follows a consistent model scheme, so an isolated version, a beacon-only version and different colour combinations are all available on the same mounting base and with the same wiring.
