Once a system has detected a fire, the step that actually matters is telling everyone in the building clearly enough for them to evacuate. The notification appliances in this category draw their power from the detection loop itself, so no separate sounder circuits and power supplies are needed, and they are addressed and driven directly by the panel.
Two variants are offered: sounder-only units, and combined units that pair the sounder with a coloured visual beacon for high-noise environments or for areas used by people with hearing impairment. The devices allow selection from a large library of tones together with three output volume levels, so the alarm level can be matched to each space and the evacuation tone can be made clearly distinct from a first-stage alert tone.
They mount on the same standard detector base used elsewhere on the loop, which keeps the installation hardware consistent across a project and simplifies the spares held on site. KIC supplies, installs and commissions them across Egypt.
