Honeywell Morley-IAS MI-DCZRM Addressable Zone Monitor Module

An addressable zone monitor module that allows a zone of conventional two-wire non-addressable devices to communicate with a modern addressable system through a single address on the loop. Its real value shows in upgrade work. A site often has existing conventional zones that are technically sound, with cabling already installed in walls and ceilings, and replacing everything in one go is not realistic in either time or budget. The module brings those existing zones under the supervision of the new panel immediately, after which the devices themselves can be replaced in phases without leaving any part of the building unprotected in the meantime. Each module occupies one of the module addresses available on the loop. The module transmits a fault to the panel on open circuit, on short circuit, or when its external fault input is pulled low, an input commonly used to monitor an external power supply. Its indicator flashes while the module is in communication with the panel and latches steady on an alarm condition, subject to loop current limits.
