Honeywell Morley-IAS MI-RHSE-S2-IV Digital Rate of Rise Thermal Detector Ivory

A digital heat detector from the MI200-S2 series in an ivory finish, built around a thermistor and a microprocessor and raising an alarm on a rate of rise above ten degrees per minute or at fifty eight degrees Celsius, with Response Class A1R. Its practical advantage is that the advanced protocol allows it to be configured in software from the panel to work as a fixed fifty eight degree device, a fixed seventy eight degree device, or fifty eight degrees with rate of rise. That means a heat-related nuisance at one particular location can be dealt with by changing a setting rather than by changing the hardware, and separate part numbers are still kept in the range for backwards compatibility and continuity of approvals. The detector carries rotary decade address switches and a dual integrated indicator with full three hundred and sixty degree visibility, and a version with a built-in isolator is available.
