Access control terminals decide who opens a door and when, turning an ordinary door into a secured point that works with a fingerprint, face, card, or password instead of a key that gets lost or copied. The terminal is wired to an electric lock, a door sensor, and an exit button, and records every accepted or rejected entry attempt in its own memory. KIC supplies, installs and maintains them as part of the low-current systems we deliver across Egypt.
Models in this category are built on Linux and support more than one verification method in a single unit, with an anti-spoofing algorithm that prevents a door being opened with a printed photo or a video replay. Some carry an IP65 rating against dust and water and suit external doors, while others include video intercom over SIP so a visitor can be seen and spoken to from an indoor monitor before the door is released. RS485 and Wiegand ports allow integration with control panels and extra readers.
We begin by surveying the door, choosing the lock type, and sizing the power supply. We then run the cabling, fit the lock, exit button, and terminal, configure permissions, and hand over after testing every entry and emergency case. The service includes the official warranty and support after handover, online or on site.
